Those Parle G biscuits and those gloating eyes… !

In this burning sun when a common man don’t want to go out… they go to school and come back on foot sans boots or slippers even. i am talking about a village where there is no electricity, no drinking water or is very scarce and muddy, no transport, no farming because of no water, no hygiene, no toys for kids, no good schools, no basic amenities in short to say.

Got a chance to meet them and got to know what poverty, penury, destituteness, indigence and impoverishment is,and i totally carried away when i saw those eyes of the kid sitting in a corner gloating at the packet of a parle G biscuit which we brought for them. May be for him his biggest Ambition in life is to achieve a Packet of Parle G. the question is can’t we help him achieving his Ambition?

Those gloating eyes and those biscuit packets

At this point in time i realized, God  is great who has given me far better life and but hats off to the stupendous, marvelous and meticulous  work of my mind who made me feel that life is hell whenever i tasted a tad of failure even in a daily chore too….wow, awesome, fantabulous work done to you : My brain.

and we ran out of gifts packets… two kids remaining, now we asked one of you has a very big packet of biscuits inside your gift packets apart from other paraphernalia(including stationary, soaps, toothbrush, toothpaste, notebooks, cosmetics etc) open and tell us who had it? one kid stood up and told he had that big one, to my big surprise when we ask to share it in three parts he offers the entire packet to be shared by between those two only. how generous was the kid!!!

when he is giving the most valuable thing in his life among his friends, can’t we donate just biscuit packets for the needy…..

Read Read Read

Give a hug to Reading Habit

I have come across many students of mine who often asked me, sir what makes you so confident when you speak? I said them that the same question I had asked my teacher once, let me tell you what did he replied me. Here it goes…

I:- Sir, I want to exude the same confidence level  as you do…

Sir:- For that there is a three-step formula and you have to follow all the steps to get the results.

I:- sure sir, your guidance is the ultimate thing in my life, just guide me…

Sir: – The very first step is . . .1) Read a lot

I:- ok sir, now what is the second one

Sir:- the second one is very important and crucial gist or we can say it is the crux of the entire formula and here it goes..

I:- i was very much impatiently and eagerly waiting to listen what he is going to say and he said…

sir: – Read a lot

I:- ya sir, that was first I got it now tell me the second one

Sir:- dear, this is the second one only and the third is also same as the first two, in short I will bullet all the three steps of the formula

  1. Read
  2. Read
  3. Read

I got the crux and started reading voraciously, every kind of articles be it related to science, politics, GK, economy, current affairs, Editorials, opinions, sports, business, entertainment, policies, technology, history, geography and et al….

My students got their answer by this.

However banal it seems to read, just carry on , read on, and always try to connect the dots.

Students :- what is this connecting the dots ?

I:- suppose you know something regarding Ravan: the devil in Ramayana epic, then it is not necessary to say about Ravan, only when we are talking about Ramayana, but we can also use it as an example of a dauntless person and can say our each army man should be at par with the courage and dauntlessness which Ravan possess. This is called the connecting the dots. We can use it any way we want by connecting it to social angle, to political angle and etc.

Students:- ok sir , got it. Can u show us what to read and how to start with?

I:- ya sure, start with a fairy tale book and proceed to higher level and side by side build your own vocabulary excel sheet.

Students: vocabulary ? why?

Words Words Words

Words Words Words

I:- it is of immense importance to have good words in your quiver, because they will guide the reader through your mood . if you use hatred  and if you use disgusting , both have different impact, moreover it is said that there is no word in English which is exactly same as the other, otherwise the other word will be redundant. Moreover, having a good vocabulary gives you many shades of thinking, if you have read 1984 written by George Orwell, there is the concept of a Thought Police and in the story in the book, the political party in power regularly and deliberately went on abridging dictionary by removing many words, and in order to make you understand, say for example, for words like come, came, went, go, etc they use only one word , for instance, go, … why? Because the party in govt don’t want their people to think and thinking is directly proportional to variety of words you possess.

Believe me if you have your own list of say 5000 difficult words (daily adding 20 words then with in a year 365 * 20 =    7300 words will be with you) apart from barrons word list which comprises of around 3500 words , then you are the person who has by hearted around 10,000 words which is a very rare because seldom students can learn by heart even the barrons list and having your own word list, you are way beyond them.

Another appeal to why to learn vocab : approx 80% of the students who prepare for GRE / GMAT / CAT / MAT / XAT decided to learn words but only 50 % show some dedication and finally 20 % are those who will definitely by heart barrons GRE word list (or some other same kind of word list) but you with your 5000 words apart the barrons word list, will be way beyond in thinking in comparison to them and finally you will be in those 10% of the people who are very rare and very earnest and very dedicated and very disciplined.

Students :- nice explanation sir,  sure we will

I:- I am done and will be happy, even only at least one student gets motivated and use his/her time in vocabulary building and reading. So reading finally increases your IQ as well as your confidence and your wisdom to think.

Students :- can u motivate us by giving us an example of advantages of having good vocabulary.

I:- sure, u can write good and as good as ultimately over a period of time, let’s say 3-4 years by constant practice, you can be in a position to write your novel and can earn royalty in your pocket from the publisher every time your book gets sold.

As a matter of example, you can read my previous post exclusively focused on words, i wrote it without any purpose of referring back to it in future, anyways,  please click the link below:

Bye and all the best for happy reading .

Do Remember  all the three points

  1. READ
  2. READ
  3. READ

Don’t miss any of the above written three points …. :) :) :) :) :)

Policies in the Making: The Winter session of Parliament

The Reverse Gear:- What the Iron man of india (Sardar Vallabhbhai patel) had done, after extreme efforts in the days just after we got independence, now seems to go in vain. What he did ? oh! Don’t say u don’t remember the history…… he is responsible for the creation of ONE INDIA and uprooted the deep entrenched fiefdoms( rajas and maharajas in this case) from india but yesterday’s UP’s Assembly under the hegemony of MAYAWATI(the CM of the State) suggested the division of the state in not two, or three states but exactly four states, may lead India in the bleak prospects about having the same landlords who bully a particular specified small area, because this is the beginning and after this telangana may got created. Maharashtra will be the largest state after UP, which again may go the UP way, consequently creating many small states, who knows probably  no greater than a fiefdom. Are we heading the right way?

After a long Stasis:- The UPA –II is no more in lethargic mood and to prove this, the Govt mulls over many areas from FDI in Civil Aviation industry, to FDI in the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority, or PFRDA, to raising the FDI cap from UPA-I’s 51 % in Single Brand retail to 100% and also 51 % FDI in Multi- brand Retails: a note of relief for Multi brand Global retailers  like Wal-mart , Tesco Plc who since a long time back smitten  by the highly profitable Indian Market.

The Exchange Theory:- The EU is a $16-trillion market comprising of 27 member contries. Till now 13 rounds of talks have been done, since june 2007,  on FTA between India and EU which if finalised will bring humongous prosperity to both. India’s focus will be on the betterment of the IT professionals, architects, etc which would eventually lead in the relaxation in EU’s Schengen visa regime, according to the ministry of commerce and industry.

No more Policy Paralysis :- In the winter session of the parliament, it is now time to have a next generation reforms after the 1991 economic reforms as The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Bill (PFRDA), The Insurance Bill, along with 16 key economic legislations and the judicial standards and accountability Bill, the whistleblowers’ protection Bill and many under pipeline seeks expeditious reviews(reports) of the parliamentary panel in order to move a step towards the making of the BILL. Furthermore,  31 Bills are ready to be passed. Who says of policy paralysis, huh?

Companies and CSR:- the compnay’s bill,2011 was long pending since 18 years or so, now materialized some days back, by the Union Cabinet, can make marginal effect company’s shareholders. It mandates company’s to share their profit on programs entitled for corporate social responsibility. It is like taking from the  shareholders’ mouth and distributing to society. However, the bill has done its best by mulling over introducing two regulators to facilitate the smooth governance of the companies:  national company law tribunal is the first one and which wopuld be expedient in settling corporate – law cases. The creation of national financial reporting authority is the second proposal. Just like in US the insider Trading is a criminal offence now in india the offences that involve deceit , fraud, et al are now defined and are recognizable under the law. The second proposed regulator is meant to regulate things like this, which will be bestowed with quasi- judicial powers.

A better Deed: Motivate Some one to Fulfill His Dreams, Eventually!!

Have courage to be motivated, if some one eggs you on but I have some people having said, “you see  I am just untouched of his words and his speech has no effect on me”, I don’t know why they take pride in this. instead if they have allowed to be motivated by the motivator they would have been a changed personality today. ALL is the matter of mind and the psycho somatic – effect is paramount. what u keep saying becomes a truth eventually and people like them never feel like motivated.

Anyone of us can write a book of his own, can become of a writer by texting his thoughts.

also every one falls for the first time, don’t press the panic button so early

No one can make you feel inferior without your permission:– some one said this(don’t remember the name).

always try to convince your mind not to make mistake … Oh dear to err is human. but still never give up. try try but don’t cry

your mind will give you 100 very reasonable reasons to not change but still dare to do that. and if you are more talented, more cogent and convincing reasons  will be  put forth by your mind but say a straight NO to this and do what is right for you, e.g., if u decided to go for a walk every day you followed it one days and the second day and the third day but the Fourth day  your mind will say hey dude stop doing this regularly as you are already thin and the more u walk the more will be fat loss which is not good for your health, this was the first reasonable reason to deny the change likewise there will be many reasonable reasons …bla bla bla …have pluck to say NO to this and keep walking everyday. Health is the biggest asset that anyone can have in his or her life …once the eyesight gets lost it wont come back, once the cavity got developed in teeth will be a life long tension, once hairs got grey can’t turned to black again, once your got joint pain you cannot cure it, once u got Blood Pressure high or low can t be treated, once u got diabetes cant be treated, but all this you can avoid by running just three mins a day NOW(i think prevention is better than cure)!!!

Run to be Healthy

Run to be Healthy

and this very easy : you just pray to god , please let me walk today then the same praying the next day till some 20 – 25 days then it will be your daily routine to walk/run.

All past injuries, on both sides, shall be buried in oblivion. Burney, James

and finally be happy.Be Happy

BEST FRAME OF MIND

when we are very much delighted and our mind is so calm and cool, we concentrate more, but if we are beleaguered and deflected by some bad circumstances and veered the calmness of our mind into erratic directions then mind looses its quality of being phlegmatic, and finally concentration goes down…

Isn’t, is it your equanimity of mind that drives you to concentrate more on what are u doing at that point in time? probably yes and probably no….

y two answers — because it is all how you had conditioned your mind over a long period of time, knowingly or unknowingly.

there are people who got devastated by some circumstances in life and then there are those who have mastered the art of handling any such circumstances thereby producing even better results.

y not to maintain the best frame of mind , i.e., the frame in which we have produced the best results , and not get detracted by the situations which leads to damage the best frame of mind which gets exacerbated into worst frame of mind gradually and consequentially mind goes to the some erratic directions and gets in touch to some abnormal frame of mind which do not suits to the situation, we are in …. finally producing —- bad results, which we would have obviated by not letting anyone change our best frame of mind.(because our best frame of mind produces best results no matter what situation we are in).

(by best frame of mind i means the total calmness of our mind which has the power to handle any circumstance of life.)

the golden rule is to forget and forgive and regain that BEST FRAME OF MIND…

like if we happy  obviously we are in the best mood that is the BEST FRAME OF MIND and can do wonders but on the other hand if we are detached and gloomy then that gloominess begets much of the same thing and now we are gloomier than before and gradually BEST FRAME OF MIND in getting turned in to the worst where we end up doing things in a very bad manner, even many a times we make an excuse, “I got this error in my code because my mood was not good…. ” so if anyhow we learn how to overcome sadness and pensiveness about wrong/right things, we can maintain our mood = good mood , i.e.,  BEST FRAME OF MIND , being in this state of mind only, we have done great wonders and have produced great results in our life, don’t we remember that?

so y to let any body derail our BEST FRAME OF MIND into something not BEST F. O. M. ?

Indian Villages – strength or weakness

I would like to take a neutral stand to the topic :- Indian villages are strengths or weakness.

I would like to say: – Indian villages are strengths of India, on the basis of the following points:

1) Culture:-

The culture of India flourishes and lives to its entirety in its villages only. in the busy life of a city, the working guys barely make up take to visit a temple which if done, will improve their ethics on the daily basis. The visit will always haunt him to do corrupt things and will try its level best to not to let him become effete.

Here goes a small story:-

There was a temple in the town. Every now and then people use to visit the temple and pay their greeting and homage and regards to GOD. Life was very good in the town but suddenly one bad day the temple was razed and there now prevails – the fear to get raped, to get stolen and robbed, to get plundered, and et all.

So this was the importance of having a small Temple in the Town.

2) Farming:-

Mostly Faming happens only in the fields beside the villages because mostly farmers are village dwellers.

The basic raw material to survive, i.e., Food, comes from the villages.

Still India is agricultural based economy and the agricultural sector provides 54  %  apart from the manufacturing  sector and services sector which provides 12  % and 29 % respectively.

I would like to say: – Indian villages are Weakness of India, on the basis of the following points:

  • Illiteracy
  • Poverty
  • Poor infrastructure

why to search for any new Idea or logic?

Disappointment is the best teacher to teach the power of success…. and if the person is genuflecting to the situation. he then understood the power and the mental state of the person who has not yielded to the situation…. and this double difference of from minus to zero level and from zero to positive level which the level of a successful person, makes the genuflected person, work hard and harder…..finally this stark difference between the downcast and successful defines the turning point to him (the pilloried one…)

we humans can believe in any theory and if…. we take that theory into the depth of our heart, can do wonders …. the question of its being shoddy or pure or scientifically proven comes much later!

but at the end of the day one has to actually do it and not just applying the theory in mental state  can do anything….!

million dollar point is not to let the time go waste in reading 100 new theories but use that precious time to get the mastery in applying the theory that already is in the depth of your heart.

applying a possessed  theory (a theory in which you already believe ) a far more better than seeking new theories!!!

‎”a peaceful transition to civilian rule”

Egyptian Uprising

Egyptian Uprising

‎”a peaceful transition to civilian rule”—still the people are celebrating in Cairo’s Tahrir Square.

Benjamin Netanyahu- israeli PM, calling it a corner stone of peace stability in the middle east, alluding to the peace treaty signed between the two after fighting war for four years.

kevin rudd- Foreign minister of australia– also toned it a very positive sense.

indonesia and Philippines also are celebrating it where the same has happened earlier.

India issued a statement, advocating the relatively peaceful Uprising , where as Japan and South Korea, officially acknowledged the victory.

After Egyptians, now Yemenis call for revolution!!!apart from yemen, there are five other nations which are on the lines of Egyptian Uprising and they are-

Tunisia

Algeria

Jordan

Syria, and

Sudan.

but still protestors in the Cairo’s Tahrir Square are divided in their opinions, some want to go to home while others are still in confusion whether the military will abide by the commitment it made to safe delegation of power to civilian GOvt through free and safe polling.

US says , “do not fear from democracy”, as it envisages that Stronger Outlawed Muslim sect may gerrymander during elections.

India – The Superpower in the making

India - Superpower in the making

Recent visits from the US prez Barack Obama, French Prez Nicolas Sarcozy, Russian Prez Dimitry Medvedev, Chinese PM Wen Jiabao and other Global leaders like David cameron(UK’s PM), Myanmar’s Head of State, Sr Gen. Thane Shwe  compete to build good relations with INDIA proves the POTENTIAL INDIA has.

There is a global chessboard and each leader(country here) is ready to put its best manuever to suit its own country’s strategy in the next few years. Like the relations between India and France are more concerned about the economical and business perspective, where as that of India and Myanmar is all about terrorism and regional peace and security on the discussion table.

obviously there is spate of sojourns paid to India in the year 2010 because India has a lot to offer to each one of the global leaders. starting in the chronological order, we have:-

  1. Myanmar – July 25 to 29, 2010
  2. UK – July 27 to 29, 2010
  3. US – Nov 6 to 9, 2010
  4. France – Dec 4 to 7, 2010
  5. China – Dec 15 to 17, 2010
  6. Russia – Dec 21 to 22, 2010
Myanmar's Head of State, Than Shwe

Myanmar's Head of State, Than Shwe

This was a Goodwill visit to India. India’s concern was the terrorism in North Eastern states of the country that are writhing in pain because of support from the neighbour countries probably many terrorist groups had entrenched its roots in Myanmar owing to loose and not strict international border surveillance.

In order to access the large gas reserves, discovered recently, in the Chindwin Basin, India has to take on china to convince the nation which has least respect for the Form of GOvt which is of the people, by the people and for the people, i.e., Democracy.

David-Cameron

here is the Personnel from UK, musing over the geo - political issues of India with other neighbour countries and also knowing the fact that India has the glory of using Nuclear Power and Technology without being a signatory country to NPT, UK found great scope in getting huge orders in defence category – one such is MMRCA Trainer . further more the multi billion orders like this will boost the recession in UK.

MMRCAT contender Eurofighter Typhoon

MMRCAT contender Eurofighter Typhoon

UK had assured India’s support for UNSC and had boasted of that it can’t tolerate the prevailing terrorism in indian territory. also he had stigmatised Pakistan for this. Also the two countries finalised the 700 million pounds military deal to induct 57 Hawk trainer jets for Indian airforce and Indian Navy.

500 hours

Well i was analysing the number of days i have in my pocket till the most crucial and important 135 min comes to life that can bring metamorphical change in my life that change can be a positive  one or negative one….

Only 52 Sundays and 52 Saturdays in a year add up to 104 days, in this i need to go out to my home town also and chances of attending a marriage and tests everysundays and birthday parties are always get first priority and some weekends gets to celebrate diwali and dussersa and above all i don’t  have an year (104 days ) what i have in my hand is just 10 months and here straight away minus 8 Sundays and 8 Saturdays so the final number of days are 88 days and and after july every Sunday is a mock test so 4sundays each month add up to 5 months till noverber so total is 88-4*5=88-20=68 days remaining….

Apart from this every Saturday and Sunday there is a class of 3 hours on an average plus travel time add up to 4 hours each day is missed from self study. 7 hours each day goes off because of sleep and the other 3 hours will go in performing daily chores….effectively 10 hours remains for a serious person each day for 68 days ….but deducting the diwali and holi and dussera and marriage holidays around 50 days are remaining, so 50* 10 = 500 hours are there to study to make the rest of 50 years…..
